Global Changemakers Club
Amestoy's Global Changemakers Club is committed to empowering students to become compassionate leaders and agents of positive social change. Inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), our students engage in Problem-Based Learning to explore real-world issues and design innovative, impactful solutions.
Problem-Based Learning in Action
As part of their work in the club, students are currently exploring the essential question:
“Do you believe humanity has the power to end hunger around the world?”
This inquiry aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goal 1: No Poverty, and challenges students to examine the root causes of global hunger, inequality, and food insecurity. Through research, critical thinking, and real-world engagement, they investigate how communities — both locally and globally — can work together to ensure access to food, resources, and opportunity for all. By tackling this essential question, students not only sharpen their academic and entrepreneurial skills, but also reflect deeply on their role as global citizens committed to building a more just and sustainable future.
Community Engagement & Real-World Impact
Through hands-on experiences, students cultivate leadership, creativity, and problem-solving abilities, while gaining a deeper understanding of today’s most pressing global challenges. Our program places a strong emphasis on community engagement and meaningful partnerships — connecting students with local organizations, businesses, and civic leaders to amplify their impact and bring learning beyond the classroom.
Together, we are cultivating a new generation of purpose-driven changemakers — young people who lead with empathy, collaborate with their communities, and create lasting, positive change for the greater good.
