Amestoy EL Japanese Dual Language Program

Our Japanese Dual Language Program teaches students in their core subjects in both  English and Japanese. Students have a regular school day that includes recess and lunch. 

Presentations to tour our Japanese dual language classrooms are being held on Thursday, March 21st and Thursday, March 28th at 9AM. Please email [email protected] if you would like to attend the presentation. 

On March 4, 2024 our students and teachers were visited by the LAUSD Superintendent, General Sone of the Japanese Consulate and Board Member Tania Ortiz. We were so thankful to have them read to our students and speak with them about their experience in our wonderful dual language program.
