Thursday if you bring your teacher a flower you can buy one from the store or you can pick one from your backyard and even if you prefer you can draw a picture of a flower to give your teachers and on Friday you can finish the week off I give you your teacher one classroom supply for example you can give them a Sharpie Panna posted markers pencils erasers or anything that you would like to give that we're testing and the week after that we're doing i-Ready and then the week after that it is a Monday where we off on Memorial Day so this is our last Monday morning simply but we did want to give you a couple of dates to remember so I'll remember Bank time goes all the way through to the end of school year which is June 11th is still a bank time it's the last day of school but it is a bank time and we know that are you tktk in KinderCare are off at 1:18 1st through 5th Grader off at 1:23 every Tuesday and every Thursday we wear our college gear and every Friday we wear our spirit our school spirit t-shirts so we know that this week is Teachers Appreciation week because just talked about some of the things you can do with your girls to show your teachers that you appreciate them so starting tomorrow we're going to start a task back-testing for grades three through five and we will be doing Ela this week and next week will be doing mathematics we have a couple of minimum days May 8th and May 24th or minimum days and the dismissal for you tktk Kinder is at 12:28 and 1st and 5th graders at 12:33 then on the May 20th through the 31st will be doing our end-of-the-year i-Ready assessment and all grade levels will do Ela the first week in the next week what do mathematics and then we're so excited to celebrate our International dance day which will be on the 24th I know that are boys and girls are busy busy busy working on International dance day is going to be a play success so come one come all to celebrate on May 27th is Memorial Day there is no school on Memorial Day and on May 29th will be having our by literacy reclassification towards them and you'll get more information as that time come closer on the 30th is our 175th day of school we have two more minimum days on June 7th and June 10th and our last day of instruction is June 11th and it's also our fifth grade culmination how exciting this is our calendar of everything we just talked about take a brief look at June I can't believe June is almost here and at school is almost over same things that we talked about doctor patch can you read the just in case we have parents who came in after sleep the night before testing that they eat a nutritious I was at home and just to let you know I know we're all busy sometimes we do not have enough time but just know that we offer breakfast in the cafeteria from 7:30 to 8:10 and of course we want to ensure that your students are here on time ready to take the test or gates open at 7:30 in the morning and you know boys and girls 3rd through 5th you begin classes at 8 so you can be here a little bit early just so that you're ready and prepared all right so this is a response that I want you to stay it in your classroom teachers please help me I'll read it off and I want you to repeat number one I will get enough sleep the night before the test your turn good job number two I will eat a nutritious breakfast your turn number three I will ride to school on time boys and girls I'm seeing all of you from here number for I will listen closely to Construction number five repeat after me I will read directions carefully number six I will relax during the test I will take deep breaths during the test it job number 7 I will stay focused I will believe and by self all right boys and girls good job at repeating after me and number 8 I will check my answers before I submit your turn all right boys and girls I want you to remember these strategies because I know that you can do your best on the test so these are some Eagle news for 2425 school year Roman applications are now available this month from 8:30 to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday in the main office and as a reminder our district leusd is providing summer enrichment classes which is summer school if you are interested in having your child participate in the summer program please register today it opens April 29th for our student enrollment so that's the website that you can visit for more information but just know that June 20th through July 19th is summer school and it's from 8:30 in the morning to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and it's currently available for utk students through fifth grade and the online application is right there for you and roll. Net thank you hey are you ready to get your passport stamped to go to Aladdin on May 11th all trips that should have been turned in if they were not turned in by Friday your position was filled your spot was filled with another student who would like to have that opportunity and on Saturday I stepped on June 8th will be going to the Opera for the kids so as soon as you get your trip status boys and girls make sure you bring them back right away so that you can enjoy this fabulous performance we've already talked about breakfast in the cafeteria boys and girls make sure you're here bright and early as 7:30 will be greeting you at the gate and you have 8 to 8:10 to eat your breakfast but remember we need to be here early as possible especially if you're in 3rd through 5th grade to eat breakfast so that you'll be ready for the testing good morning everyone happy Monday another week closer to our summer break I just want to say I'm so proud of all of you for coming to school today and every single day we only have I think it's on the next flight but we only have about 26 days of school left in you believe that 26 days so I know that makes me really excited I know that makes all of you excited but with that said please please come just every single day only reason why you should be missing school is if you are sick okay then that is really really important that you come to school every single day and like we all mentioned testing is coming up so it's me very important that you get good sleep and that you're ready to learn and and enjoy these last few weeks do we have left of school left next life please all right till like I've mentioned this month we have 22 school day is that means we only have just a few weeks left okay and I don't think I put it on here but like I mentioned for the month of June it's only 7 school days so we can get through this month and then after that it's it should we should be right around the corner from summer break so please come to school everyday Prince nextlight okay so let's give a shout out to miss casadas class kindergarten 99% Flippy's class first great 98% Miss duenas class again a hundred percent that's amazing and Moscato d'Asti are great 98% I want to give her an extra shout-out because her class completed the attendance challenge yeah and no shout outs in the study as you guys are amazing your attendance is over-the-top and so so so so so very proud Miss Olson's class 4th grade 96% and Ms Chapman class 100 percent of the amazing good job everyone as a reminder boys and girls no cell phone use on campus text me now use our cell phones while on campus until reminder that we should all follow especially since it's all so close to the end of the school year and cell phones must be put away in backpacks until school is over so just to let you know we have all your contact information everyone we need to talk text another fight we have it in our system so don't worry we will contact your parents and Guardians in the event of an emergency any other case amethyst staff is not responsible for lost or stolen cell phone Bi-State the responsible beer respectful last reminder boys and girls just because this is our last Monday morning as somebody doesn't mean that we do not follow all the rules that we have reviewed throughout the Monday morning. and one of them is the restroom use all of us are responsible for ensuring that we have a safe clean restroom we do have people outside on the yard and near the there's any need for you to notify an adult please walk out and let us know we're here to support you were here to ensure your safety but just make sure that you as a student know how to use the restroom in a respectful man by leaving the door closed using the toilet paper wisely using some voices holding down the flusher washing your hands and then walking out of the restroom so that another person to walk in and use the restroom are you can do it I'm after he goes now it's time for our drawing for being safe and responsible and being respectful and remember the more blue slip that you receive you go slips the better chance you have of winning so when your name is called you
